Thank you very much, John, for all that you did for our family over the past couple of weeks.

You conducted Shirley’s funeral service with dignity and solemnity. Many people commented on this. And, most importantly, you provided extraordinary support for Kim, Michael, Garry and me. In particular, Kim and I were most appreciative of the many kindnesses you showed us.

You were always available and amenable to our needs. Shirley’s funeral was truly a ‘funeral of compassion’. I wish you all the best in your ministry and you will remain in my prayers.

Sincere thanks to John and his team for the wonderful job they did looking after my dad, Geoffrey Mercer’s, funeral on Friday 28th September 2018 at Castlebrook.

I had obtained several quotes from various companies before calling John, not only was his quote the best but he was also the most genuine person I had dealt with.

The communication and support my family have received from John from that first call, up until today has been fantastic.

He didn’t try to sell us on, or guilt us into anything, there were no hidden costs and he made the process extremely simple and straight forward.

The flowers were absolutely beautiful and the celebrant, David was so good that several people thought he must have known Dad personally.

My family and I couldn’t be happier with the send off they managed to give my Dad, it really was a beautiful service.

I can’t speak highly enough of John and the team at Funerals of Compassion and strongly recommend them to absolutely anyone and everyone.

Dear John, Vicki and all your wonderful staff,

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all of your heartfelt efforts and guidance that you extended to us with the very recent passing of my beloved mother, Kathy Kotlar. Having not had the misfortune to have experienced the passing of a close loved one, you walked my family and myself through the difficult process with a personal touch that my mum would’ve appreciated and deserved.

From the 2 hour chat & humor on our first meeting, to the final stage we felt mum was in good hands. Thank you Vicki for listening to our requests for the floral arrangement and delivering a memorable colorful effort that we will always cherish.

We are grateful beyond words for all that you provided to us, right down to the tea and rocky road.

Dear John

My sisters Angela, Pauline, Patricia, Wendy and I want to thank you and your colleagues for your professionalism, kindness and respect in helping us farewell our mother, Marie. The funeral was a fitting farewell to her. Everything happened exactly according to plan on the day and was done to a high standard. The flowers were beautiful. We appreciate all you did to make it a memorable occasion.

You provided regular support in the period before the funeral and I do appreciate that.

Very rarely have I encountered an organisation that has far exceeded my expectations – on the occasion of my late husband’s funeral John and his colleagues did just that.

My husband had always insisted on a funeral with only immediate family present. This made it a fairly small gathering. None-the-less Funerals Of Compassion far exceeded what I thought the day would be like. They went the extra mile to make everything perfect. The funeral was flawless and the celebrant they organised took much of the pain from the day. His humour matched that of my late husband so his words struck a cord.
